Ollie Roberts is the lead guitarist and composer in the band ‘METAPRISM’. Since creating the band in 2012 they have gone from strength to strength playing alongside some top bands and plugging their successful debut EP. METAPRISM define ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with their unique brand of melodic progressive metal. With a combination of female and male vocals, their huge sound blends face smashing aggression with soaring melodies.
Following a stunning victory in the ‘Metal 2 the Masses’ competition they got a coveted slot at Bloodstock Open Air 2014 and by captivating a capacity crowd on the New Blood Stage, earned them place at Wacken Open Air Festival 2015 in Germany. August 2015 will also see METAPRISM return to Bloodstock on the opening night of the festival, this time on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.
