Alessandro Venturella – Slipknot

I am HONOURED to finally be able to reveal that Alessandro ‘Vman’ Venturella from the unstoppable force that is Slipknot has now joined the Carillion Artist Family!
Alex and I have been working on this one under the radar for a while now and what we have produced is like nothing else I have ever built. It’s a lot of fun building for this guy (this bass is his 3rd build), and with such a wealth of knowledge and experience he’s a hard man to please. Thankfully, he is also incredibly open to suggestion and allows builds to naturally evolve from the initial spec, too, which always produces to finest results. This bass was no exception.

Says Alex –
“After having two guitars built by Chris I was overwhelmed by the precision and incredible craftsmanship. I had to get a bass. Chris turned my vision into a monster of a bass.”
Obviously, Alex will also still continue to play his beloved Status basses, this is a non-exclusive arrangement, though you may well now see a Carillion or two on the next Knot tour…

This is a pretty big thing for an independent Luthier like Myself, and I still find it incredible that musicians of this calibre are willing to give me the time of day considering that I am a one-man-band. Massive thanks to Alex for this opportunity, and thanks also needs to go out to my good friend, Dave Payne, without whom this would not have been possible!
